I am UBER EXCITED!!!!! That our Launch Night in LAGOS, NIGERIA is only a few days away. At MILK, we aim to celebrate the MILK Models, as they host a themed night for their esteeemed guests. For those who dont know what Milk is, here is a brief description on the MILK BAR:

The MILK Fashion Bar and Lounge is a fashion- inspired concept bar and shisha lounge opening in Lagos this December.

With an emphasis on privacy and restrained sexy, we aim to introduce a new way to party at night AND relax during the day. Hi guys, so its the second edition of Meet the Modoll.......This time its the very hardworking Ada Ogunkeye. Ada is such an all rounder, she photographs excellently, and her runway walk is one to die for.....Her personality and work ethics are also what makes this DOLL special....So I decided to ask Ada the same questions as i did Toya, and she answered them accordingly. Enjoy......

Ada Ogunkeyere, born the 25th November, 1986. IN the year of the tiger which explains a lot :-). Born and bred in la gos baby! To a Yoruba dad and a Cross-River mom, gotta love the mixes! I think sometimes you can get the best of both worlds that way! hehe! I am many many things, but some would say opinionated, thoughtful and would like to believe i'm smart as well.... but I've been wrong before!

Apart from modelling I enjoy:Studying the law... I know i complain constantly, but lets face it, if i didn't enjoy it i wouldn't be doing a masters in it! lol! Also love love love love movies! It's what i do, i watch films for days! I think they are an important indicator of where society has been and where it's going

My favourite thing about being a doll: Apart from working with very smart, talented, and direction driven ladies who run the show! Well.. I love the corsets i must admit. Tasteful,stylish, sexy, and bringing back what it means to be a sexy woman curves and all!!! A corset is the ultimate in feminine shape wear, so who wouldn't want one!!!

J'adore pink and ruffles because:It's girly, flirty fun! LOVE IT!!!my Fave piece in the collection so far: would have to be not one but two! lol The amazing blue corset I wore, and the Black... just have to love black!My single must have make up item would be:Eye liner.... everything becomes instantly dramatic with a bit of that, no matter how ragged you look, eyeliner makes it edgy! hehe!

What's Been GOING on!

Hey Everyone!
April has been a very exciting month for us. We both travelled back home to Lagos and we worked our little tushes off! Ruffles' done with Uni for now and I just had a verrrrrrrryyy long break off Uni. Most people don't know that apart from starting up our lingerie line, we'd always had other stuff that we were interested in and worked on, we've got to bring in the bacon somehow... them knickers aint gonna buy themselves!!.
Ruffles works as a freelance stylist and she's styled quite a few fashion shows here in England and she's back in Lagos now doing some more jobs. I am a part-time model and I have done a few shows here. People often get confused when I'm modelling for some other designer, whilst showing our lingerie line... well now you know.. I'm not cheating on my baby, Pink and Ruffles, only working! Anyways, we'd never really 'cracked' the Nigerian market, so decided to try our luck out last month. I did a few photoshoots and also modelled for Ruffles on one of her styling projects for a very reputable magazine and she roped in our make-up artist. Lola Maja.... the issue's out on friday!! It was great and Ruffles has been working non-stop.
I'm now back in England, as I've still got Uni and my dissertation to work on and Ruffles is still in Lagos, she's there for a couple more months.

So right now we are working on our individual projects, and building up to our annual Summer Show!! Can't wait to reveal all the new stuff, it'll be colourful, as always, with the girlie, flirtie, fun of course. Ruffles would be blogging later this week, we hope to get some images from the shoot and post them here. Thanks for all the emails and support!

Hey Guys......so sorry for the MIAness.......I have been way to busy!!!!P!nk is working on her projects for her Dissertation, and I am in Lagos working my socks off.....I work for a coutorier named Hephzibah Couture....absolutely love eet....

I have worked on the cover of a lovely Nigerian magazine called Genevieve, the may issue is sure to rock your socks off, not because Hephzibah styled the shoot, but becasue May is the PINK issue....which celebrates the Annual Pink Ball. This year the ball would be held at THE EXPO CENTRE, on the 23rd of May..........

P.S...................I am designing and styling 3 Dresses for the ball, which would also be in the May issue of Genevieve.......The magazine is out on the 15th, so you can still place your orders for the ball, just right after the issue comes out....

Ruffles: Apart from modelling what else do you enjoy doing?
Toya: Writing is my first love and I spend every spare second I have writing something or other! I have a curious fascination with documentaries. Doesn’t matter what it’s about. Lol. Recently watched a documentary about Jellyfish – it was strangely riveting!
I also enjoy eating out – If that’s even a hobby?! I think more a necessity as I can’t cook. Lol.

Ruffles: Why do you like Pink and Ruffles?

Hey Everyone!!

We are sooo excited. We managed to pull off the fashion show on Saturday without any dramas(as drama seems to come hand in hand with our shows...LOL). Notes and Swag was an amazing event, with an Amazing location. It was good!! A massive thankyou to the organizers for having us!!

This is the lovely Toya, new addition to our dollhouse!! She delivered that S-E-X for us!! :D

The DoLLs got to strut their stuff on stage whilst M.I. did his thing!! He killed it!! It all came together beautifully

The PRuffle Dolls were amazing, pictures from the event are still being edited before we can get our mitts on 'em.

One of the exciting NEW things to be added to our blog includes the Knicker, Bra, Corset, Bustier or Nightwear, as the case may be, of the day. This section will be termed Pruffle’s Preference.......

PRuffle's Preference is aimed at choosing what we feel matches the mood of the day in accordance with our famous *GIRLIE, FLIRTIE, FUN* slogan.At the end of the week, we would have our exceptional PRuffle's pick of the week!! (which could be an entire outfit, or should i say "inFIT" of the week, due to the fact that it is Intimate wear)

The Mannequin Magazine Launch was beautiful......we would like to thank all our models for all their dedication and support....We truly do love you all......
I know i promised some goss from the show, but the truth is we were extremely busy getting ready for the show, that we didn't get a chance to watch the show!!!

I do remember one of our dolls now turned MC.....opened the show in her sexy YettyD designs dress.......

Hello people!!!!

I wasnt really a make-up person......until people like P!NK came into my life.....then i started appreciating the loveliness that is "painting" ur face......
IN search of getting it just right, i decided to follow the band wagon and opt for MAC.....yea...i did..
So i kinda got tired of queueing at the MAC counter for ages with gazillions of other deeper skin toned people......plus their ever so popular NW45 Studio fix was not very, lets say popular, with me....
I decided to retire from MAC, as it made my skin clog...........
I moved on to Iman......which a friend introduced me to....it was absolutely refreshing.....I loved the fact that the powder was so light and very effective....

However, as some of u may know...Iman has been closed down...due to financial reasons....Ah well.....
So I had to go back to MAC.....hmmmmn,....
My friend and I were determined not to get that dreadful NW45......and we didnt....
We found something more interesting and way "different" from the usual MAC world....It was Mineralize!!!!
Its ever so lovely on the face....not too heavy and not too dull....just right!!!

My excitement continued when we moved over to the NARS counter........hmmmn.....
this was like seeing P!nk and Ruffles, but in the shape of glosses and blushes and lipsticks....
I was well excited..............
So i decided to make a lil purchase *sigh*......!!!!!

THE BEAUTIFUL HOT WIRED LIPGLOSS......

However, thats not whats tickling me knickers at the moment,.......

ITS actually this beautiful new "Welcome to the Jungle" range...It was inspired by old Hollywood glamour for the movie premier of the female dominated- THE WOMEN......

The Jungle Red Box Set comes with a red lippy,nail polish and lip liner.......very VALENTINES........*looks round*
Since there are rumours of a !!!♥Pink and Ruffles♥!!! Valentines show.....I might just get familiar with these lot.......stay tuned

Sorry we have been missing in action temporarily........its due to a lot of work.......Rehearsals, Photoshoots, Interviews, Meetings, could possibly go on............................

Its been a hectic two months,but HEY that's life i guess..

We've Had mad support for our up coming INTRODUCTORY show......which i cant wait for.
This is Ruffles by the way............Pink has gone to work and is having after work drinks with the colleagues.....so i guess am kinda bored and lonely............AH WELL...

Hey Everyone,

We have been OFF Blogville/land for a while… well A LONGASS time!!.. Not that anyone noticed, but we sure as hell did : D, and we APOLOGIZE!! ‘Ruffles’ has had exams and well me …. Err…been modelling and stuff…. But alongside our daily routines we've been working HARD on our 'venture' and haven't REALLY had time to blog... but but but..... WE is focused now!!!

So what have we been up to………..
We’ve been rounding up suppliers, getting our stock in and sorting out what we need….. We are NOT almost done, but we is getting there…. But anyways RIGHT NOW our priority is getting in some HOT GIRLIES…aka models…. We will be holding a casting session, trying to find the right girls…. But right now we are scouting DILIGENTLY (I lavv eeeet : D)

Who are the right girls….
We haven’t got a PARTICULAR look… well we do.. HOT GIRLS… of course… But we need confident girls that would be able to portray what we’ve got in mind…. We need flirtatious, sexy, cutesy girls….getting the PICTURE… that would trust us to NEVER make ‘em look stupid…. Our lingerie show is 'A SHOW'…. We’ll have the models ‘do’ stuff on the runway… IT’S BASICALLY A SHOWCASE… with a LOT of colour!!!!....

We’ve got TWO sets of models
The **PRuffle Dolls** and **The Pink and Ruffles Models**…. These would be explained later… But depending on a potential model's personality, they would fall into ONE category!!.....

Just a lickle introduction about ourselves. We are two friends, P!nk and Ruffles, that absolutely love and adore LINGERIE.
